Material Handler (Engineering)

Our client is a family-owned South Australian business with a strong reputation in mechanical engineering. Specialising in conveyors and material handling systems, they are looking for a skilled Material Handler to support their operations and workshop team.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently receive, store, and distribute materials.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials safely.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.
• Collaborate with production teams to meet operational demands.
• Assist with procurement, including material orders and supplier coordination.
• Track shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Uphold a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Background in engineering or manufacturing (highly desirable).
• Experience in procurement or inventory management (a plus).
• Forklift license
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player.
